Why does everyone hate the Razer Firefly?

Luxpin_

I'm buying it once it gets back in stock , its a nice mousepad with LED lights. All people seem to care about is the price just look up ANY Razer review of this product and all the comments are filled with haters crying thats its 60 dollars when its a pretty impressive mouse pad. " sigh " you cant please everybody

Wouldn't the thing in the middle top interfere with the muse cable?

I have one, the only thing that bothers me right now is how slippery it is. This is coming from someone that has been using a control oriented mouse pad for quite some time.

Not really my cable is pretty slack on my desk though, so your experience may vary, but I've had no trouble using the cable over the top bulge (my cable is braided btw)

Because it's too expensive and looks hideous IMO

I'm sorry but I feel the reason its too expensive is why your so off to it , how can it be hideous? You can customize it to ANY color you want you have to have a favorite color xD , and its all black just like almost all mousepads . There is almost no reason it should be hideous

Too expensive is not the main reason, I saw the pad and formed my opinion on it before I saw the price.

It just looks stupid, why do I want colors under my mousepad? Why?

And the big Razer logo on it too.. And the fact that is has a wire too

So you want everything to look boring? what if you have a color scheme?like I do . I love to have all my peripherals have a red and black color scheme its all purely aesthetics. I think if another company released this it would be no problem but since its razer and they have a whole line people hate on it

Don't get me wrong I have a black and white color scheme for my desk/build and I like it but flashy lights are a little too far... doesn't matter what company, this is the same thing I said when the k70 rgb was going to come out its, THEY ARE FLASHING LEDS THAT CHANGE COLORS BIG DEAL

because I am not someone who likes the xX_1337scoper_Xx like stuff.

Mousepad is suppose to be simple IMO. I'm not saying you can think otherwise, but just respect my opinion too please? Thanks.

(And I'm just gonna say 'price' one more time)

Why spend 60 dollars on a mousepad when you can spend 10 on a just as good one without fancy unnecessary lights?

That's a 50 USD difference, you know what else you can buy for that money?

A mouse? SSD? RAM?

And I can spend that 50 bucks somewhere else too, like on my hobbies.
