need help with gpu shopping

hi all so im gunna macke this simple im needing a new graphix card but i hav been shopping for about two days and still have no idea what one i got 110 £ or about 160 to 170 us dollars i think 

 

mah pc specks 

amd a8 6600k

 

16 gb 1600 mhz ram  2 x 8 

 

500 whatt power supply 

 

and of the other stuff i cant think of off the top of my head 

 

o yeah the games i put most most of my hours into:

probably overwatch when it comes out

Yeah I would have to agree. I am thinking a 760 around that price point.

Thats processor.. Many leave out the card they currently have cos they think it's not relevant.. Often happens that all they need is a lil overclock, clean or fresh install to give a rig a new lease of life.

If you can stretch a little... can an r9 280 run on a 500w?

Look on to ebay. Lots of great used cards there that usually will fall in that price point especially AMD cards. I got a 280x off of it, great condition, for $98usd. Though if your going nividia and dead set on that it will be slimmer pickings

The 280x will outperform the 760, as it outperforms the 960 in most cases aswell. Might be your best bet.
