Uhm... has anyone tried the Shure SRH1540s?

I wanna hear as many people's experience regarding the 1540s (the more the better) since I'm kinda pulling the trigger on trading my 1840s for 1540s since I really want closed-back headphones right now.


Genres I lean on:

 

House
Trance

Dubstep
Electronic

DnB
Techno
Acapella (I'm betting nearly every headphone can do this easily. I could be wrong, but yeah @.@)

Punk Rock

Alternative Rock
Progressive Rock

I really liked them other than the fact that they didn't fit well on my head but that's more because of my oddly shaped head. They are fairly boom but it doesn't drown out the highs. I'm still trying to sell my pair.

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.
