Computer Tower as a cup holder?

Sorry for this topic, but I was at my cousins house, and he had 2 of his drinks on his tower. I just had to ask if its common for some members here to do that as well. I learned my lesson about 10 years ago when I put my drink on the tower, and my cat knocked it down into the motherboard. That was such a bad day... :unsure:

I have a cup coaster on my desk, putting it on my PC would be very inconvenient.

One of my friends had soda on his desk and his elbow knocked it off in to the pc. I know it is common for some people but I would never risk it.

I know its a common thing. I was just baffled seeing as his last computer got destroyed as well from the same situation. I learned from my mistake, but he just doesn't care.

I put everything on my PC. Paper, soda cans, glasses of water, soup bowls, plates of food, and not one time have i ever tipped over something because it's on the floor to my left at a little bit more than an arm's reach, so it's almost impossible to tip over something.

No. My pc is very far under my desk, I have to kneel to turn it on. It would be very inconvenient to put something on it :P
