Posted June 2, 2015 The E5-4600 v3 series, codenamed Haswell-EP 4S, scales to 4 sockets and boasts most features of Haswell-EP design, including improved efficiency, new AVX2 and FMA3 instructions, and support for DDR4 memory. Haswell-EP 4S CPUs are paired with C610 series chipset and require socket LGA2011-3. Compared to second generation Xeon E5-4600 lineup, the v3 family offers more cores and larger L3 cache size at the same power level. Additionally, the family was expanded with several segment optimized models. Posted June 2, 2015 4627V3 is the one I'd pick. (Price>Performance) 2.6Ghz>3.2Ghz 10cores/20Threads Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,..
