[advice] $500 gaming build

Go to solution Solved by Albatross,

If you don't mind used, you could get a used GPU and make the price cut down. If not, I'd suggest:

If possible, i would like to include an i5. resolution is 1920 by 1080. i would do it myself, but i'm not very good with budget builds. thanks

If that's the case, use @Str_Mape 's i5 build, but use the 4590 from your local microcenter.

I get mildly annoyed by the fact that it's pretty much impossible to tag me when I can tag other people with 3 letters than an underscore perfectly fine.

Given the cheaper i5 I'd also swap in the B85 board from the i3 build just so you can upgrade RAM down the line if needed.
