I do use it.

I have setup custom filters for youtube and twitch though to allow ads through.. Mostly adblocker is for those websites that litterally, is nothing BUT adds....

Everyone have a cool signature. I don't, so I thought I would write something.

- Cool right?

I remember a similar thread not too long ago. Anyway, yes I use it, but I do make a lot of exceptions. I usually unblock all websites that I frequently use, except for websites that are really intrusive with their ads, like PC gamer.

There must be a way around this because I would go out of my way to support content creators but I will not personally watch ads. I get hit with advertisements nearly 24/7 so it just ain't happening. If I could use adblock to watch all of my youtube content, and after I've watched everything ad free, run a script that opens up the content I "like" in a different browser (mutes it) and lets the ads play through (to the skip point) and then plays the next one. I would have no problem running that script to help out the creators.

How hard can it be? :P

First script is autorun and it logs the URL addresses of videos where the "like" button is pressed. Second script is manually run, it opens up logged url addresses in a browser of our choice, mutes the browser and closes it after 30 seconds. Then it deletes the URL address from the log file. Any major flaws? Probably but I can't see this being very hard to do anyway.

So who wants to make a script? I'd do it only I don't know how   :(. Maybe we could make it a forum project or something. Show people step by step how it was made. It could help the content creators and the users (who can't code)   :).
