Theoretically it would be fine, but I would try to replace in the next few months as the 750M isn't a brilliant unit, and I'd be personally looking at 850W for XFire 290s

 

You should be fine for a while though

Would a my cx750m be able to handle dual 290's I have a I5 4670k at a light overclock of 4ghz.

yes it will be fine.

Doing 2 7950s with an i5 4670k on 4.2 GHz on a CX750 - according to my power meter my system draws approximately 610W under full load.

 

Soo you should be fine.

750W is the magic sweet spot. Capable of doing 2 GPU's, but without costing an arm and a leg.

4K // R5 3600 // RTX2080Ti
