Seriously, why the Pentium? It's a dual core. You said you stuck with your old Mac for 6 years. I can tell you now that a dual core Pentium regardless of its core clock won't be satisfactory for 6 months let alone 6 years. I recommend the i5-4460 in its place (a quad core i5 is all you ever need these days), and if you hit your budget wall you can get step the motherboard down to a cheaper H97 one or the Gigabyte Z97P-D3/MSI Z97 PC-Mate.
