theres no integrated graphics either, this is not meant to be used in consumer grade rigs

Yeah, not even all the threads in i7s are taken advantage of. 61 cores...wow.

Short answer: no! 

 

Linus did try using one of these (not sure on exact model) and it really sucked. The problem is you're not using the CPU for what it is intended for. Without looking at this specific model, the later ones were essentially atom cores with a FAT FPU stuck on it. Running FP heavy workloads, it'll destroy anything else. Running general code is not going to be a fun experience.
