Posted May 19, 2015 Whenever I boot my system svchost.exe (netsvcs) uses up a HUGE amount of my ram (around 1Gb of my 4Gb and the free ram goes all the way down to 0 MB) and so my RAM usage for the first min of booting up is around 85% than after more than a min it still sits at around 65% only to drop to 40% after a couple of min. HELP! CPU - i5-8400 , Motherboard - ASROCK Z370 Killer SLI, RAM - 2x8 GB DDR4 2400mhz , GPU - EVGA GTX 950 SC, Case - SilentiumPC PAX M70 Pure Black V2 Storage - 240GB SanDisk SSD, 1TB WD Blue, PSU - bequite! 600w Pure Power 10, Display - Dell P2417H, Cooling - bequiet! Posted May 19, 2015 Sometimes its a virus, sometimes its a windows installation fuck up. Has happened to me before on a brand new installation and a wipe and reinstallation fixed it.
