Looking for a old game

Plainside

So years ago when I was 5-8 yrs. old I played a game at a friend of the family's home.

Which eventually got me into gaming more.

There are a few things I can remember from the game but not much.

The main mechanic I beleive was was assasinating people by infiltrating their forts.

One part I can remember is that you have to climb a wall where he puts a knife in his mouth and there is a guard on top.

But for the rest I cant remember a lot sadly.

It could be around the year 2000-2005.

I've looked into the Thief Series but sadly this isnt it therefore I was wondering if any one was aware of  any other games.

Anyways thanks in advance

Edit: This game was for PC not for consoles

Edit2: I actually believe it was around the medieval times it was placed at.

Edit3: Might have been a heavy stealth game....

-snip-

it doesn't sound  familiar to me..

Maybe you can look up some gameplay on the Prince of Persia games

"We're all in this together, might as well be friends" Tom, Toonami.

Hitman? Assassin's Creed?

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.

Third person?  First person?  Really helps to know what genre it even was :P

Splinter Cell?  Since you mentioned forts, I guess it's set in medieval times so probably not Splinter Cell. XIII?

Velvet assassin only comes to my mind but that's 3rd person 2009.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.
