Do people really buy these? I'm waiting for a gaming toilet to come out so I can finally consider myself a true gamer.

The Optiks have advantages that don't include gaming, Jay seems to enjoy them.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

Since Woot didn't sell out the rest of their stock last week, it looks like they put up the remainder as another sale.

The remaining ones aren't as fashionable and they have plastic frames, but I have a pair of the e11vens. Unlike many of the other glasses Gunnar sells, I feel like the lens on the e11vens are actually big enough, being adequate to cover my entire range of vision.

f.lux costs $0 and is more versatile. Just take that into consideration before purchasing "gaming/computer" glasses

True but I don't care for it while I'm gaming, just like I don't care for gunnars when I'm casually browsing the web.

Hmm? I really don't understand what you mean with this comment. They literally have the exact same function except f.lux allows you to control the intensity of the yellow hue.

Or is it simply because the gunnars are advertised as "gamer" goods(?)  lol.

Please elaborate

they're legit, they do actually help.

I was skeptical at first too but they were cheap and I said why not

A lot of other people will suggest f.lux, but that doesn't work very well during the daytime, and using these with f.lux is nice.

they suffer from typical gaming marketing, that's undeniable.

The color is different, f.lux is more of an orange whereas the gunnars are yellow.

I've got a pair and when I used them when I used to do extended gaming sessions.  Helped a good bit with eye strain, but I haven't had time for more than 2 hours of gaming at a time these days so I haven't been using them.  But if you do 4+ hours then they are worth getting, especially for that price.

Proper filters are good for eye strain, idk if this brand is good or not.

I feel like my glasses just eliminate this for me. My TV/main monitor is pretty bright, and I can literally sit in front of it all day and not have any issues.

I bought myself a pair of Gunnars and honestly i love them, the yellow tint is much harder to notice [at elast for me] when im watching a video or movie which is great, i dont wear them all the time, but when i know im gunna be sitting at my computer for long periods of time ill toss em on, the only downside is that i have a not very wide pair of on ear headphones, so after a few hours of use, especially if i wear my skullcap to keep my long hair out of my eyes/face while im working, when i take off my headphones and glasses to do something else, the top like 1/3rd of my ears are pink and a little sore to the touch, but its only noticeable after i take them off, so its a small price to pay for the comfort and peace of mind they give me while im wearing them
