What is The Best Tech Deal You've Gotten?

As the title says, what are the best deals you got on tech?

Personally I got a FX 8370 for $110 ($200 normally) on Newegg during Black Friday. Compared to Intel it definitely not the best, but for the price it rocks.

Not sure if it counts but I got my '93 IBM Model M (1398601) for $36 on Ebay. Smoking deal considering it was P/S 2, 100% complete (keycaps, cable etc.) and had no damage.

Working of course :)

Perfect P/S 2 M's normally go for $100 to $120.

What have you snagged for cheap?

For tech, I got my badass PSU for $106.50 on NCIX (after tax and shipping) about a year ago. I also got my earbuds, Shure SE215-CL for $88. I'm really considering getting an r9 280x for $150-$170 (depending on the prices at the time) on Ebay. Most of my best deals are gaming though. Got Fable 2 for $5, was actually considering not getting because I thought I'd like it less than 3. Boy was I wrong. Borderlands 2 for $24 on vita only two months after its release, Gears of War 3 for $15 new about a year after its release. It's so easy to get epic game deals though.

Also, I know this isn't for buying but I sold a 1045t for $110 last year.

I've had a lot of Nvidia cards in the past year and I had some issues with Nvidia customer support and product quality. I already had the CEO's email from a previous issue last year and he was busy so I was redirected to the Sr. Vice President of GeForce. While discussing these issues, my new GTX 960 died and I told him. He sent me his GTX 780, a hoodie, a shirt, a backpack, and a letter from Jen-Hsun. Returned the 960 and yep, got all of that.

Yeah. Now that I have it I have to recommend it to anyone questioning 144hz, 1 970 doesn't always push 144 frames in all games but in the games it does, it's amazing. (On the train to SLI 970 village..... when I have enough money  :P)

When the new GPU's come out this fall, you should get a nice deal on another 970 via eBay.

I would say buying this 40" Samsung 1080p LCD tv that ended up with some damage is the best tech deal I've gotten.  I showed the repair guy what was wrong and he noted it and The Brick got back to me saying he could not repair it due to the parts and service costing more than the tv but since it was not going to be repaired I got the full cost of the tv back as credit at The Brick.  So basically I get a free tv out of the deal.  The tv that they would not repair has damage that is not noticeable unless you go looking for it.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Yeah. That's when I plan to upgrade anyways. Now I wait for the days of GTA V at 144 frames. (At night of course, day time is SOOOO overrated!!!)
