So this will probably get locked in 5min but anyways...

A friend of mine recently posted that he wanted to build a computer and in doing so he named the budget and also stated "I want to order the parts from one site, preferably Amazon." I have had people do this in the past but they put all there efforts into creating a pcpartpicker and try to convince me I'm getting a better deal. To sum this up pcpartpicker is not my best option (probably the same for a lot of other people) because I have Amazon prime and other reasons why I want to order from there so that is why I stated "buying from Amazon". I know it is free advice here on the LTT forums but for the love of god don't waste your time with a pcpartpicker unless they say so or don't mention otherwise, Thanks.

Pc part picker is brilliant, it allows people to check whether all of there parts are compatible or ont if it hadn't been for that site I would've ended up with a FX8350 and a Z97 mobo.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

what i generally do is make a PCPP list thats below the required budget, or mention that prices may vary depending on vendor (really, if you're buying every part seperately from seperate vendors you're crazy)

PCPP allows the forum users to quickly assemble a build for a user that needs advice, without the forum users needing to weed trough german, french, polish, italian or whatever language website to find the best options.

pcpartpicker is the definitive go to tool for making pc builds. great that you have amazon prime but telling people not to suggest it to others makes no sense

It's just an easy way of checking if the parts are compatible, you can order wherever you want.

PPP is just an easy tool to make a list of pc parts. You might not like it, most members on LTT do.

I don't.

PCPP can be unreliable at times. I've had it before where they've listed the wrong things etc., making Amazon look expensive.

every website has their pros and cons

True, but listing the wrong thing, potentially making you spend more, isn't a minor thing to be swept under the carpet

you have to wait, some poeple aren't patient

On here, you can get an answer within minutes.

Yes I know all the stuff on top of my head but some people don't.

Which is why I said

But surely you can just ask people that.

Correct me if I am wrong but Amazon does not have a compatibility filter.  Use PCPP for that and then take into account Amazon Prime (which I have) after you have built your system.  See what the lowest price is on PCPP and if it beats Prime, go get it.  Prime works for me here and there because at times I get charged for TAX so I take that into account.

I have a potato!

Completely off topic but here.

Pc Part Picker is love, PC Part Picker is life.

I was only 9 years old I loved PC's so much, I had all the graphics cards and CPUs.

I pray to Gaben every night before bed thanking him for the life I've been given.

PCs is love I say, PCs is life.

My dad overhears me and calls me a faggot.

I knew he was just jealous of my devotion for Gaben.

I called him a cunt.

He slaps me and sends me to go to sleep.

Im crying now, and my face hurts.

I lay in bed and its really cold.

A warmth is moving towards me.

I feel something touch me.

Its Gaben.

I am so happy.

He whispers in to ear "this is my PC".

He grabs me with his powerful rich hands and puts me on my hands and knees.

I'm ready.

I spread my wallet wide for PCs.

He penetrates my grommet.

It hurts so much but I do it for PCMR.

I can feel my grommet tearing as my eyes start to water

I push against his force.

I want to please the PCMR.

He roars a mighty roar as he fills my PC with his love.

My dad walks in.

Gaben looks him straight in the eye and says "Its all enthusiast now".

Gaben leaves through my window.

PC is love, PC is life
