How much would you give for a ballpark price?

So a guy is bringing a laptop over and tried to give me specs, here's what he gave me:

i5-32 something

1.5TB 72000RPM

8GB RAM

CD drive

1366x768 screen

HP laptop

Used over school year, and no longer being used...

 

So off that, what would you say is a ballpark price and a final price to pay?

 

I was thinking maybe take the CD drive out and get an adapter for the HDD to be put there, than a SSD in the HDD spot, and getting a 1080p screen.  Aside for the adapter, I have done the rest before...

7200RPM in a laptop? Seems legit..

 

200-300 USD probably..
