My stepdad plays his ps4 for a good 6 hours a day straight and we haven t in the TV stand. It gets pretty hot in there and when I can hear his ps4 fan with my headset playing games in the other room I wanna fix it. Basically I was think getting a set of some veRy very quite fans. I'd Kindda have one fan putting air in and one fan pulling air out. How would,I go about do this? How would I power the fans? Would it be possible to turn the fans on automatically when he turns the ps4 on? I've never done something like this and I'm only 14 so I don't wanna go no more then like $30-$50. It doesn't bother him but it sure bothers me so any ideas?

it's loud.. If I close the door it's louder and hotter. It only starts it after 2-3ish hours.

but 360 has stuff like this to help

I think what I'm gonna do ish kinda get 2 fans in the back with some mesh ( so they aren't as noticable) but I need some fans that use a low amount of power and turn on when the ps4 turns on. What did he use to plug in all the fans so they got power? Something like that but it would plug into a USB.

Yea I've had one before actually, the downside to them though is they are cheaply made and cause red ring because the power connector fails. Also I have the Halo 3 special edition which doesn't look like a normal 360 and it would literally be a sin to slap that giant white brick onto the back of my gorgeous 360 :P

I was thinking http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-fan-co9050002wwor http://pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-case-fan-nfs12apwm Id like to get the corsair because it would be a cheaper option. If I were to run itAt lower RPMs or even at highest. How would,it compare to the Noctua at highest and lowest RPMs?

I know your.. From FiftyFiveCraft I think. Other then that I've seen that. That's for a PC.

it will work the same though. The heat is most likely trapped in the cupboard where you have your PS4. by removing the excess heat OUT of the cupboard it hsould help. Even just bringing the PS4 out into the open room it should help tremendously.

Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?

Corsair fans are mediocre and Noctuas are not worth it for the application. Just grab yourself some GELID Silent 12 or Rosewill Hyperborea
