Do you need all your front panel connectors plugged in?

[sORRY THIS IS TECH RELATED IN OFF TOPIC STUFF, JUST WASNT ANY OTHER SUBJECT THIS WOULD FIT INTO]

 

Do you need all your front panel connectors on your mother board plugged in? I was wondering this because im lazy and I just wonna see if my PC will boot when Im finished with it.

I haven't plugged eSATA & audio jacks. Argument: why pay 50€ for sound card and not use it. There is a way to plug front panel audio to sound card but I have selected different method. Back to topic, I'd say you only need power button (no need if you use button on mobo), and hdd led. Or if you don't want to see if you have crashed the old fashioned way then you can leave all connector unplugged :)
