I would love to go with that, but my plan has changed to buying a mouse, a g602, for 55$, so now I'm looking for an approximately 45$ SSD for boot that has good speeds.

I will put a pin in that CPU cooler though, as when I get more mooooney that will be the first thing I buy.

This one is the easiest to install and has 100% RAM compatibility so there's that.

Can you suggest a fast ssd at 45$?

The Adata SP600 is probably as good as you're gonna get, my suggestion is to go ahead and get the cooler and save up to get a 256GB SSD. Or if you need the SSD to build a system use what you have to get a 256GB SSD and wait to get a cooler till later.

I like the way you think.

I'm using a laptop grade WD green @5400rpm right now. I was looking for an ssd, but at this budget, I may as well just wait.

I'll probably get the h5 and a mouse. Save up a bit of money, and get a nice quality ssd, probably an Intel 730.

It's a solid plan and you will get more out of a 256GB SSD than you will a 120/128GB one anyways.

Thank you for the help. Only thing I really need an SSD for is to make my desktop environment faster, make boots not take ages, and BF4 (really, its stupid how slow that loads), so I may as well just save up, get what I can get nice right now, and then pop an ssd in later to finish this thing up. (Besides a GPU of course, still GPU-less, yay 720p low)

That review is for a different cooler, the Shadow Rock LP, not the  Pro 2.

You dont say? I was talking about low profile Shadow Rock cooler and then saying how well it performs so the tower one must be a lot better. You just need to read.

Hyper 212 Evo / X is a great choice for under 50 Bucks. Sure, you might think that its "budget" and "not as good as the 'better' CPU coolers", but actually, its just a minimal difference of maybe 1-2 Deg C. Also, you can upgrade the stock fan to some OP fan (Noctuas maybe?) and that might help a little.

Also, John Luxton has apparently been banned (I cant access his profile) and in his signature he did say he was autistic, so...

If looking for a budget cooler I would look at the Cryorig H7. Better than the 212 EVO in every way and costs the same. But apparently the OP is getting a mouse instead of a cooler.
