I was wondering why there isn't a dedicated RB PI section here, maybe I missed it?

I think it would be cool if the gods added one on LTT, I got mine today and I have a ton of questions.

I'm trying to learn to program with it, kind of like an interactive way of learning programming and code.

It sure would benefit having it's own section I think, what are your thoughts? I might sound retarded to some of you for saying so.

We can't have a section for each type of tech thing. There arent any "drone sections" or stuff like that. Also, the raspberry pi isn't the only single-board computer.

Wishing leads to ambition and ambition leads to motivation and motivation leads to me building an illegal rocket ship in my backyard.

If its general stuff about them as pieces of hardware, General Discussion. For things about coding, Programming. And for future, make any suggestions to official thread.

True, but drones imply a lot of R/C equipment and telemetry, I 'm sure there are a lot of forums just for drones and how to set them up.

But RB pi and arduino amongst others are all similar and do require programming and coding, there is already a programming and coding section so it wouldn't be that hard to implement.

Having a section for something like this has been discussed before, and might end up happening at some point. However, realistically we need to see there be a fair amount more content that would go in that section before we would want to create it. If there end up being loads of rpi and arduino threads in general discussion (or wherever that particular question fits best), it's certainly something we will consider implementing. At the moment though, such threads are rare, so we can't really justify having a dedicated subforum for them.
