What case do you have? The 100ME will overclock better and looks cooler.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend either, but the 100ME is likely the better card of the two.

Is it because you hate gtx 970 for their 3.5 vram issue.

Window? What motherboard and cooler do you have? I used to have a 960 100ME and it looked badass in my R4.

Err, no? I've got a GTX 970, and I really like the card. I however am not a fan of the MSI variant's appearance or the ASUS variant's pathetic power delivery (I've got a Strix card.)

So which one do you recommend?

I think the Windforce, G1, ACX 2.0 and AMP! Extreme variants should be considered.

No window and no overclocking? In that case, neither. With 970 go big or go bust. Save your money and get the base Zotac, or spend the extra for the G1.

Whats the difference with Zotac and G1?

Zotac is pretty much the cheapest 970 that tbh works just as well as any other when you're not overclocking

The G1 is pretty much the best 970 you can buy. Beast overclocker

All 970s perform pretty much the same out of the box.

I guess MSI

What the heck, that doesn't make sense. Don't choose just cause clock speed. You will never notice that 26MHz difference

26mhz doesn't do much for you I guess :P I thought that the difference was greater before checking. My bad.

lol, you could more then easily get that 26MHz back on the Strix or even the Zotac :P

Yeah but OP isn't going to OC. They should though.

The MSI's stock clock speed is easily achievable by pretty much anyone on the Strix/Zotac even with no prior overclocking knowledge.

It's when you get into overvolting, stress testing, and stuff like that to really push your card, is when it takes some knowledge, skill, and a Gigabyte G1 :)

I'd still suggest the G1 if you can afford it (and it can fit in your case, bear this in mind as it's a loong card), but if you really feel like you're never going to overclock then get the Zotac. The "middle ground" cards like Strix and MSI aren't worth it.
