What mods for Skyrim?

So I had skyrim like 5 months ago with a bunch of mods that nexus recommended. I deleted the game because I didnt like it.(( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) cum at me) And now I want to give it another chance.

I remember there was a page on nexus with the recommended mods. Can anybody link me to that page? Or maybe you can recommend me better mods?

And also, dont mention any graphics mods that will blow my 270.

Mods enchance the game, plus skyrim is just fundamentally broken in some areas without a mod patch. http://skyrimgems.comis a great source for mods, really good list that's really easy to find what you're looking for.

Yeah of course (sometimes and depending on the mods ofc) Skyrim is a great game in its own right, there is nothing wrong with the vanilla game IMO, it still looks decent, and plays just fine :)

OP let me just warn you that getting all the mods to work together properly can be a pain.  Also many times it requires you to mod ini files and other stuff and you will end up taking more time just to get mods to work than actually playing the game.  Still with that said I took the plunge with Skyrim mods using Nexus Mod Manager and while many will say it is not the best way to do things it is the easiest.  Just go to the Nexus site and get the mod manager and download mods from there.  Also in the live chat there are often very helpful people.  Now also let it be said that in the live chat that is where I found people saying they knew of people or said they themselves ended up spending more time trying to get mods working than actually playing the game.  Anyway OP hope you have fun with Skyrim ... playing the actual game. LOL

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

SuperPug in regards to Logan's videos does he provide any installation information or does he just go on and on about everything he likes?  When I see ENB, INI settings, etc. mentioned it right away gives me headaches.  If all he does in this videos is talk about what he likes then it isn't helpful much.  So what is the deal with the videos?

I don't like using mods in any games, because one day u won't be able to load them (read as play on other pc) and the game will be just broken for u.

Also, mods can easily break balances.

Honestly I want to play the game the developer envisaged, their designs and stuff, thats what sets Skyrim apart from other games, and I dunno I never felt when playing that the game needed anything else, I spent a good hundred plus hours and enjoyed it all

So do I, but when I looked at the list in 2nd post, I've just installed 2 mods to make people run into their houses at dragons or vampires attacks, because I'm always frustrated when all my citizens gets killed... :D

@SuperPug Didn't know about Logan's second video.  Points out some interesting mods that I didn't know about, thanks for linking it.

Jumped all over Designs of the Nords the moment I saw it and look forward to seeing these new banners in game.  Several other neat ones to read up on too.

I lked turnign it on when it was cold and snowy outside. thought it would be my winter go to game.... haven't tried it since I finished the main story and a bunch of side stuff after

I have too many games to revisit most of them really, only short single player campaign get played more than once
