Sensitivity help, anyone?

Meestagibbon
Go to solution Solved by Enderman,

well 400*2.1=840

and 840/1=840

so 840 DPI should be the same unless the game uses an exponential scale

I dont exactly know what to call this, but I play csgo competitively, and I use 400 dpi, and 2.1 in game sensitivity, is there a math equation or a method that I can find out what dpi would keep the same sensitivity I have now, but 1 in game? so my browsing sens and OS sens is the same as my ingame sens?

Okay thanks, I had the math part down but I wasn't sure if something like an exponential scale was something to look into. Thanks!
