Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

Even cheaper with a thinner bezel... I'm thinking about getting this one, except it's a 25", not a 27". http://www.amazon.com/Acer-G257HU-smidpx-25-Inch-Widescreen/dp/B00QS0AKVK

WTF? Why is that so dam cheap? And why can't acer just use that plus a g-sync module for a 1440p 60hz display for $450?

Probably partly the stand, it is pretty terrible, and there is no vesa mount to replace it. Other than that, it is a practically perfect monitor.

@JohnT This is also IPS.

OT: This really isn't that good, this monitor was below $350 a few days ago.

The Amazon site doesn't mention it. I didn't do any further research.

If you can survive - wait for the holidays. Deals are going to be bed-rock low this year.
