Turbo is free performance as long as the extra speed fits within the limits of the TDP and thermal thresholds. You could disable it, but you're wasting the already lackluster single thread performance of your CPU.

it is worth the extra performance, I don't know the gaming performance increase, but here must be some difference, surely.
