MSI GTX 980 Performance?

As good as any other GTX 980. However EVGA does do the Step-Up program so you can hand it in and upgrade your card later if you want to and only pay the difference.

Mostly the same.

But you get to say to your friends that you have a card worth looking at for days..

OMG ITS SO SEXY!

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

Performance wise 980s are similar enough that it makes little difference.

 

I have an MSI 4G 980 and mine is very quiet, even under load it is the quietest thing in my case and I have all my fans set to the minimum my motherboard would allow.

I have it ocerclocked to 1504mhz and the temps are usually in the 55c-65c range while gaming, highest I've seen MSI Afterburner record is 75c.
