Do you buy boxed editions of the game just to have a box?

bydus

I bought gta 5 disc version even tough I don't have a dvd drive(borrowed usb dvd to my brother) and I downloaded it from the internet. It was the same price as digital and I like how it looks on my desk. I'm considering buying Witcher 2 and Elders Scrols Anthology as well because of the box and the things it comes with. Anyone else like that or all prefer digital copies of the game ?

Exactly what i do with PC and PS4, just to bulk up the collection and eventually bragging rights.

For example: Remember when you actually got a box with a game??

:D

I do like having physical copies of games but unfortunately I am running out of space in my games room. My new rule is.... If getting a collectors edition then I will get a physical copy, also get physical copies for console games.

The one thing I never download is movies... I like to have a physical movie collection :)

I don't just for the box. I more prefer to get them because then I have a physical item for my money as opposed to a file on someone's server. Also, because something like GTA V would take ages to download.

Normandy - Intel Core i5 3470, 8 GB Corsair Vengenace LP, EVGA GTX 960 SSC, Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP, WD Blue 1 TB, Seagate 320 GB (steam), Seagate 320 GB (experimental, second OS, etc), Windows 8.1 + Ubuntu 14.10

Garrus - HP Stream 11

I still buy old games and console games.

Yes I like having the boxes and stuff, but don't have a problem with Steam libraries or something

I am moving towards boxed games more and more just because of the big download sizes and slow internet I have... 300kb/s is a pain in the a**

Impressive. That's actually quicker then my friend installing from the discs.

I wish I could but I dont have the space for boxed copies, I have over 500 games on steam, then add to that console games and a back catalog fo old PC games

I would need a whole second house for game boxes
