Should I get a fractal design R5 or antec p280 for a silent build?

Define R5 is a very safe bet. Only thing stopping you is appearance though. Both are good, but if you like the design of the Antec better then go for that.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

And I'd love to do a build with the Silent Base 800 some day.
