Posted April 26, 2015 I haven't used 8ms or 1-2ms monitors but I don't notice anything with 5ms panels. Posted April 26, 2015 I haven't personally tested 8+ms vs 1-2ms monitors side by side, so take this with a grain of salt, but in theory there shouldn't be much a difference. Most people have a reaction time of around ~180-300ms, so adding 8ms to that, in theory, shouldn't be a big deal. RIP in pepperonis m8s
 Posted April 26, 2015 Is there a big difference? Will I notice it in games like BF4 or LoL? Thanks. I used to be using a 1ms 1080p 144 hz panel, and when i moved over to the dell 1440p panel i have now its 6ms input lag did not really bother me. It wasent bad enough for me to notice over the drop from 1440hz to 60hz, and i didnt really get any worse in bf4, because even though it is a shooter it is nowhere as "twitch" as counter strike Cpu: Ryzen 2700 @ 4.0Ghz | Motherboard: Hero VI x370 | Gpu: EVGA RTX 2080 | Cooler: Custom Water loop | Ram: 16GB Trident Z 3000MHz PSU: RM650x + Braided cables | Case: painted Corsair c70 | Monitor: MSI 1440p 144hz VA | Drives: 500GB 850 Evo (OS) Laptop: 2014 Razer blade 14" Desktop: http://imgur.com/AQZh2sj , http://imgur.com/ukAXerd
 Posted April 26, 2015 Response time numbers don't really tell you much at all. This is covered in great detail in the FAQ at the top of this section.
