A big bottle of Nyquil® to wash down some vitamin C every 6 hrs. or so and get a lot of rest/sleep. Works for me every time!!

Chewing vitamin C tabs always helps me, along with spicy foods (for the stuffiness in your nose) and plenty of television and sleep.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

ok, watch out for pain killers, i'm guessing you are taking NSAIDs like aspirin, ibuprofen or naproxen, DON'T mix, and DON'T overtake, you can really damage your liver. The typical med cocktail for annoying colds are an NSAID and/or acetomeniphen (paracetamol), an anti histaminic like dyphenidramine, hydrozyne, chlorphenamine or loratadine, an anti congestant like pseudoephedrine and if you got a really bad cough you can take dextromethorphan (I would stay away from codeine or other opioids) Other than that just rest and let it pass, it's a virus, symptoms can be treated but nothing you can do to make your immune system work faster. Feel better!

Drink brandy then sleep for an hour or so. Sleep is optional.
