Steam on new SSD

So I've put a new SSD in my PC and installed windows 8.1 on it but I still have my steam libraby on my other HDD.

I was wondering if I could perhaps get steam to pick up the library I have on my old HDD instead of having to reinstall my whole library of 50 games with aussie net.

The biggest bottleneck is the Aussie internet..

CPU: i5 4690k @ 3.5 | GPU: Sapphire Tri-X R9 290 | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97X-SOC | RAM: 8GB DDR3 @ 1333 | Storage: 2TB HDD, 500GB HDD & 120GB SSD | CPU Cooling: Hyper 212 Evo x 2 fans | Case: ThermalTake S41 

Display: 2 x 1080p Monitors | Keyboard: Logitech G510s | Mouse: DragonWar Phantom Battle Version | Mouse Pad: Logitech G240 | Audio: Logitech z506 Speakers & Audio Technica ATH-M50x | Misc: PS3, Iphone 5s & Ipad Air

Make a games folder, set it to Steam download location and put all your games there.

Ahhhh... how to set it to download location?

When you install a game, select the option to make a new directory on your HDD. Point to the existing SteamApps folder there and your games will be magically imported back into your library ;)

In steam's settings you can tell it where the default steam apps folder is/move it and then it will see all the games rather than doing them one at a time.

My method doesn't require adding one at a time, it imports the entire SteamApps library you select.
