My friend has, he said that the game was bloody addictive. But I can't be sure about that, I haven't tried it.

Tripwire hasn't fucked over their community, yet. So I doubt that they will decide to make KF2 an early access game.

Well in the description of the game in Steam, it says the game is only for new content ideas and game balance. Should we believe them and buy it now?

i agree, but I don't want to buy a game that they are testing/ironing out, I will just wait a few weeks until its 100% completed

If I recall correctly, it will be six months in early access. I'll wait until it's balanced and feature complete. Stats and unlocks will be wiped anyway. There's always a risk with early access titles to be alreay tired of them when the game is feature complete. Allthough I can understand it when people pick it up right now or in the upcomming summer sale. What I've seen so far looks really good.

it's got a 92% Rating On Steam. pretty good for an Early Access games. but we don't know in the future. they could fuck up or make another successful game like is predessecor. i trust them.

That's because they already did the beta. They kept it closed til they had ironed out all the major issues. Its only on early access now because its really only missing content that is being added in every day.

Tripwire is a pretty smart and decent developer. I have faith in them and I'll be buying a copy for myself and my gf this weekend. Nice way to take her mind off the mini zed kicking her in the belly.

I had beta access, and I enjoyed my time with it. 

The game was mostly fine, the only problem I had was content and sometimes there was an audio bug.

Stop thinking that bad executions means bad concept. You guys tend to do this a lot.

Killing Floor 2 is early access done right. When they made some of their other games, they didn't get to properly implement community feedback because they were too short on time.

The core gameplay is already finished, now they're pretty much just filling up the game with more content and want community feedback so they can tweak it in good time.

 

Even animations for fiddling with the gun when trying to reload a loaded gun goddamnit.

 

Anyway, the only negative major point is that it's lacking content. There's only three maps, four perks(classes) and one boss. It's still really fun, but you may want to wait 2-3 months.

I did not like Killing Floor (the original). It just got boring after a bit IMO. Kinda of what @totjup5 said but mine was with Killing Floor, not Killing Floor 2 ~ just not enough stuff. 

 

NOTE: I have not played Killing Floor in a while so it might of changed - probably not much tough

The only Class I play is sharp shooter. I'll purchase it once they add the sharpshooter class to the game. Until then it would just sit in my steam libray unused.

I have just been gifted it, but I haven't play it yet. Looking forward to see the new animations.

I find the game enjoyable.  Only thing that got me confused was that the Katana is not a Berserker class weapon, it is classified as off-perk.  But the shotgun hammer is fun.

 

Also the boss is so much worse than the Patriarch from KF1.

Personally I'm going to wait, mainly because not all the perks are in the game.

 

Also, "And a warning: it is almost certain that we will wipe all statistics, including Perk leveling and Achievements one or more times during Early Access!", I don't want to "waste" my time when my stats will be reset multiple times.

Game is very fun, played it during beta.

Content is definitely lacking but they already have the SDK available to the modding community for maps and other content like mutators, so there is going to be content sooner than expected.
