Go to solution Solved by Guest,

What do u mean by all apps?? I said explicitly I was running windows 7

Start Menu > All Programs > Internet Explorer?

Could also try running iexplore.exe too...

Hi there,

I need help enabling IE10 again. One day, I disabled IE10 and and after a while, it completely disappeared from the desktop. When i try to reenable it, it said it already was enabled, but it still wasn't on the desktop. I am running Windows 7 on an HP Pavilion g7-2017us on an Intel Core i3-2350.

You could open the windows button and search for it in the search bar, open it and then right click on it and pin it to where you want. Is it in the start menu somewhere?

Why re-enable IE-10, just use chrome or firefox and enjoy the internet.

I agree but I need something that is not buggy. Chrome sometimes dropsmthe connection and firefox simply crashes.

Not on the desktop as in there's no shortcut? You can find in in the All Apps section and repin it to your taskbar or something.

I believe you go to add/remove programs and click on the menu about windows features and re-enable it.

I already did that and after a while it disappeared even though it said it was enabled

Do you possibly have a virus I have used firefox for a long time and I might be able to count on one hand the amount of times it has crashed on me. As for IE I don't have enough hands and feet to tally all the crashes with that browser.

Some people's experiences are different when it comes to different browsers.

While that is true, we shouldn't rule out the possibility of a virus until the OP explicitly states that he has performed full virus scans from a reputable scanner (Kaspersky, malwarebytes, etc). The fact that he's saying it keeps disappearing on him is suspect of something else going on.

As for Chrome/Firefox crashing, the ONLY thing that causes those browsers to crash for me is FLASH PLAYER, and that's because Flash player is kind of a piece of crap.

Then go onto the beta or release channel of Firefox or on chrome disable "send usage dsta&stats" to remove most crashes.
