GTA V Crossfire Performance

Hi Guys,

 

Anyone tried running crossfire on GTA V?

-Specifically maybe on Radeon HD 6990??

 

How does the game run?
Will an FX-8350 pull through as CPU? :-D

 

What's your performance experience in GTA V so far, and what's your setup?

my fx 8350 is normally around 50%-60% when playing gta 5 i also have a gtx 770 i run everything at high and get around 60fps

GTA V seems to hate AMD CPUs but the 6990 should help with some FPS.

 

Off Topic: Are you the guy who wanted to buy a breaking 6990 to repair it? If so did you manage to fix it then?

I am, I just gave up on that hopeless project :-D I own one myself, but was looking to buy another, just in case something happens.

But gave up on it :-D Dead Card is dead i guess.

I just tried it with my 6990. It works perfectly :-D

Some stuttering, but else than that, over 30 fps (35-40)

So I'm fine :-D DAMN dem graphics. All maxed, except textures. they're on Normal. Not enough Vram.

Then again, I'm only on 1080p, not 4K.

Reviving this thread a bit, anyone with HD 6000 series (Mainly) or HD 7000 Series graphics who can run GTA V perfectly smooth in crossfire??

Did the BETA drivers help you or make it worse?

ignore the ram indicator. I'm using a 2gb card and it says I'm using 3.1gb at 4k!! its very inaccurate
