Fuck bitches... Like I fucking hate being in a relationship... I love the girl that Im with, but damn fuck this feelin' shit stuff...

Seriously, I just have a hard time dealing with the emotions that come with this. If I could go back and change things I would probably never have gotten in a relationship with anyone.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

She didnt, like, fuck them. She only really did it to get back at me, though there were signs things may have run deeper than that sometimes. She just texted and sexted and sent pics and shit. She did it for almost two months even though I flat out knew and she knew I knew.

I'm not sure she is the wrong woman though. I just Dont know man...

if you get trapped in a puddle on the bank the water becomes stale and stagnant, misquotes lay larva in the water near you, bacteria grow in the puddle, and muck suffocates the sunlight.

stay with the flowing water, see the other parts of the shore, meet other fish. and if you reach a dam, learn to befriend beavers.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Yeah, but when it works well, and you two love each other, that's simply the greatest feeling in the world. Like you could stare into each others eyes for hours and never feel bored. It makes almost anything else in the relationship seem almost.....insubstantial. Love is the strongest emotion a human can feel.

In my experience high-school relationships don't last for long. I had a girl in high-school that I liked a lot. We used to date for almost a year and some of that time, during the summer holidays we lived together at my place, since my parents go for two months to our summer-house. Needless to say, after I graduated and needed to move roughly 2500km away, it didn't go well. Even before I moved I sensed she was looking for someone else to replace me and I can't judge her for that. When I moved, exactly 2 days after my arrival at university I met the girl of my life and we are currently living together for a bit less than 3 years. 

 

Anyway, what I am trying to say here is that everything happens for a reason. Yous aid yourself that the trust between you is long gone. When that happens and you two start going through each other's phones, well, it's pretty much over. I presume your girlfriend knows you are going to DC and if she really wanted you to stay she would say so at the very least. Since she obviously hasn't there is no p[point in asking as she will interpret it as begging and you don't want to seem weak. 

 

Just forget her and go to DC with your mom, there you will find someone else and who knows, may be she will be the one!

Nonono. I didn't fuck anyone. I betrayed her by sexting her best friend, once, right after a major fight. I did immediately regret it, but not immediately tell her, and she found out later after her friend told her.

No, my moms situation was different. Crazy people, me being taken by child protective services at a young age (I remember that one explicitly, how great of a memory for a child) but they are still friends.

so it was a shitty time when they got separated? it was a low point for your dad, and he kept in contact with your mom, then saw how she's doing much better now right? that brings with it some remorse. (i assume she's doing great if she's moving to washington.)

 

the best thing you can do to not feel that remorse is either

1) stay in contact and see her burn out and fade 

2) don't look back, this way, if she somehow drags herself out of the puddle (water metaphor extended) you won't know and won't feel bad

3) you don't have a kid with her right? you'll eventually feel less bad over time. because there isn't a blood anchor.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

shit gangsters trying to get that money you owe them? put everything in your car and drive 2 states away, get rid of any social media accounts and stop talking to friends that have gang friends, block calls. now, find your local church (mormons are best IMO) and ask for shelter and food for a short while, they will help you find a job, an apartment, and all you have to do is sit through a few services, it's not a terrible trade-off.

If I were to move away I would want to go with number two though, because I Dont think I could handle her finding someone else, or knowing that she's always there. There's too much between us for me to just let her become a friend after this if it makes sense to you. Just too many good feelings towards her.

I'm not the best with this sort of stuffs, but it's best to let people go and move on. Find a job somewhere you like, and "start fresh".

If someone doesn't respect you and treat you equally, fuck em' they should be out of your life asap. It's gonna suck for a few months, but everyone gets over it eventually, and then you'll be happier then ever.

Fuck, if you can't find a good job, employ your self! You'll find something interesting that you enjoy doing, even if you just get by for the first bit, you're still making progress. My dad did that, now he's one of the best glamour photographers in Vancouver.

Anyways, I hope this helps, I'm still young, but I've been through a lot of stressful situations. If you ever feel overwhelmed just get a cold glass of water, get some good (preferably uplifting) music, and take a step back. LTT has your back, we may be a bunch of nerds, but we're still here.

Basically, my problem with leaving her behind is I Dont want to be my dad.

I Dont want to be a forty year old man breaking down about his ex-lover (my mother) and how great of a woman she was, and badly he misses her.

Stuff doesn't always work out man.. You sound like your still very young.. You have kids?

Thats a whole different ball game once kids come into it. 

 

I know for me there is 1 girl I regret not still being with but thats in the past, You will find someone else to make you happy and things sound too toxic to be the basis of anything good at the moment.

 

If you can get out of it and stay together and work it all out, great..

 

As I said, only you can decide.. But you have to make whatever you decide work.. If there is nothing you can do to make it work, you have to change it.

I'm 18. Almost 19. So yeah, pretty young.

Things are pretty toxic. But its always darkest before the dawn. But i guess there's also always two sides to the coin.

Just real quick before you take any of the advice in this thread i think most people dont realize that you guys didn't actually bang other people. Also i really dont think theres a reason to have trust issues in this situation (like you said she did it because you did it first). Maybe shes not getting enough attention from you or something like that... you guys should probably talk it out i dunno. Doesn't seem like a unresolvable situation to me. :)
