Fun Multiplayer (2) Game?

Bonjour!

 

Today i'm searching for a new multiplayer game to play. I want to play it with my GF so two player is enough :D

We are not in the same network so it has to work over internet. Also her Laptop is quite the crap so it shouldnt be too demanding or not demanding on lowest settings.

 

The idea is to have a game we could solve together like some missions that require some team work or something. 

(No, for some weird reason she wasn't too amazed with Portal so sadly thats not it ._.)

 

Any ideas? :)

 

 

Oh and it also shouldnt be too expensive but when its a really good game i dont care :)

with anno 2070 you could share the micromanagement. i dont what kind of gamer your gf is but basicly any coop game ever would work. splinter cell conviction was fun for me and a buddy of mine.

Something round based or with a story line/campaign.

Dont be so quick to dismiss it, its easy to play, has an interesting and fun storyline  and an easy to get to grips with fast paced multilayer

 

Don't just hate it because its cool to hate call of duty, sure its a copy and paste and least imaginative game ever.. yes, but its still fun, well made and well polished - heck I have played every single campaign and multiplayer since the original WW2 game!!

 

She might enjoy it, I know it has a really popular female following

Castle Crashers was mentioned by someone and it's probably your best bet because it's not graphically demanding and it's easy to play. Not sure if you can play over network haven't played it in a while but if so it suits the criteria.

Indeed. Terraria has crap multiplayer though. Hardly any active servers. You would have to make your own.

NOT Dark Souls. The co-op takes FOREVER to get working. ;p Other games are good though.
