G500s VS G502

manzir

So I have G500s and have been using it for a while, Now I have my eye on G502. Do you guys think it will be a worthy upgrade?

Surprisingly, the G500s is more expensive then G502 every where I look!!

PS: I have a semi palm-semi claw Grip and medium sized palms

I think the ergonomics of this mouse is decent, for some reason the middle/scrolling click of this mouse doesn't register in some cases

G500S is more expensive because its not being manufactured anymore and instead of selling remaining stock away at lower prices, the new trend is to sell them for more in case some hardcore fan must have a brand new one.

G502 could be an upgrade (much better sensor) but if you don't have anything you hate about your current mouse, it might not be worth it.

I have gone through 2 G500s before switching to the G502. The G500 the perfect mouse for me back then.

G502 has less support for the palm at the rear palm area due to the slimmer profile. I do find it a bit uncomfortable palm gripping it because it doesn't raise my palm enough so the edge of the lower part of my hand always touch the mouse pad and that introduces a lot of strain during long periods of usage. I also have a G602 and I think it much more resembles the G500 profile.

Off topic: I just bought the corsair vengeance K70 mechanical non RGB keyboard for 79.99 + 4.89 shipping from corsair website. That's why I was itching to get a new mouse as well :D

Great info, I might face the same issue with G502

My G700 has been my best mouse to date, though it got wrecked while I was moving a few times during a funky stage after college. I've also had the G5 and G500, but I find that Logitech mice either eventually have wire problems or unwinding threads on their threaded USB cables. The G700 was my favorite in that I never had to worry about the USB cable, which could always be replaced, and if they came out with an update it that didn't look like trash (wish they made a G700 update that looked like the G502 instead of releasing the horrible G700s), I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

The G502, however, is more uncomfortable to me than the G500 and G500s.
