Yeah, its no surprise that there a few hiccups with the amount of people who will refresh the second the timer his 00:00:00. Steam's servers must take a beating during these sales.

 

Also, I do hope that Gunpoint reappears, it lost a community vote so I'm just hoping it pops up elsewhere.

Seems good enough that I'd buy it anyway, but if its going to be cheaper may as well wait. That said, if like the rest of the Humble store games the DRM free copy from the website matches the steam price, Its best to buy it direct from their site so the Developer gets a larger cut of the money (95% as opposed to steams 70%), and you get a steam key and a DRM free copy usually.

Quick question about trading cards: is it normal to use a card drop but not get a card?  I used all 4 of my card drops for Tomb Raider but only got 3 cards...

You should get a card each drop. However they may not be unique, check your inventory to see if you have any duplicates.
