I was just looking to buy a new ssd and boom this came up in this site....

a 1.2tb ssd wow... I want one of those and then I saw the Price WOW OVER $1600 for an SSD

Yeah They are SUPER fast

I think they should re name these to SSSD's (Super Solid State Drives)

Compared to HDD of course it is expensive, It is meant to replace high end SSD raid0 setups, offering better performance and comparable size!

LianLi A71F Fulltower - i7 3770k delided + Corsair H60 - G.Skill Ripjaws 16 Gb @2133 Mhz - Sabertooth Z77 - Asrock Vega 56 - Asus Xonar Essence STX - Creative SoundBlaster Omni - 2x Corsair Force GT 120 Gb - 2x WD Green 2 Tb - 1x WD Blue 2 Tb - Corsair K70 w/ Red switches - Logitech MX Anywhere 2.

I can't wait until we can get one of these for say $200 and even 500GB of storage. I'd be a happy camper.

Yeah it's expenisve but once you get a ssd...

I bought a 850 evo 1tb for my laptop, it's expensive but totally worth it.

I'm not saying its not worth it.

If i was rich i would get 2 for my pc

Also they look awesome too :D

Have played around with an engineering sample and it's great. There are a few issues trying to get it to work on some boards though. Best way to look at it is a 3700 series drive scaled down for less write cycles plus you still need a high end system to back it up.
