The absolute best price i could find on an i7-4770k with an MSI Z87 Mpower was $554.98, ive been searching the internet for days looking for something better.  just bought myself that combo from newegg for 484.94 (-$100 combo deal) plus a free $15 gift card. cant beat that! just one more month until i get my hands on that 780 lightning and my 2 year project is complete!

And fast shipping too, right?

im in Taiwan until august so fast shipping wasn't important XD so i went with the free shipping, but usually they are good about it getting there quickly!

what's with the obsession with Newegg, I go on amazon because I got prime, so 2 day shipping, and better prices :D
of course they have good combo deals, but most of the time, I just want to get one part, plus they sell nothing watercooling related other than AiO's

I ordered my second 7950 from them on April 15th. I get a email 2 weeks later saying thank you for buying from them ad here is my tax man promo.. I guess cause I ordered near tax day I got a free $50 to spend at Newegg.. It was awesome. So I paid $329 for my His boost 7950 got $120 in free games and a $50 gift card.. So I paid like $160 for a 7950.. :)

MicroCenter offers a similar price without a bundle:

-4770K - $279.99

-MSI Z87 MPower - $189.99

Total: $469.98

 (Then factor in tax @.@)

So... if you don't want things shipped, then MicroCenter is a viable option also (given that you live near one). I tend not to use NewEgg because I don't like waiting for shipping, so I'll usually go to MicroCenter or order with Amazon Prime.

i looked into microcenter, those prices are for going into the store and buying there, plus they charge tax.

Glad you were home, but how long was the stuff sitting outside before you actually knew about it? Man, $1000 of anything sitting outside without my knowledge would have me pissed.

Anything PC related I've bought has always needed a signature, and I'm glad. I'd rather have to go to the depot to get it than it sitting outside my house.

Usually they ring the door bell and i come down and thjey did nothing. I had been tracking the number and knew it would be here that day and thought a signature would be needed so I added signs to my front door to go to the next house over and get the signature and leave the items there. They never came until I got home from school and I heard the truck pull up so less then a minute. Would have been pissed off otherwise.
