Steam Summer sale TOMORROW, July 11th

I know. We should be the first to get the summer sale. But it seems we are one of the last. I think it starts in 9 hours.

New Zealand is below Australia, so they should be the first :P

But let me ask you something...

Are you ready for a miracle?

I laughed harder than I should've at that. Almost fell out of my chair.

Anyways, the firs couple days will unfortunately be spent at a music festival I'm not keen on going to (my extended family is gonna be there though). The whole thing is during the weekend, when I work. However, I have plenty of money. Its supposed to be for clothes for college, but I saw my error and balanced my priorities. Will be focusing on CryEngine 3 based games since the Steam for Linux team announced that they were nearly finished converting it to work with Linux!

CPU - FX 8320 @ 4.8 GHz

| MoBo - Sabertooth 990FX | GPU - XFX Radeon HD 7870 GHz Ed. @ 1.075 GHz | CPU Cooler - H100 | RAM - 16 GB Dual Channel Vengeance @ 1600 MHz (didn't care to push these...) | OS - Windows 8 Pro | Storage - OCZ Vertex 3 (120 GB Boot), Samsung 830 Pro 64 GB, WD Black 1 TB, some random 320 GB from a laptop | PSU - CM Silent Hybrid Pro 850W (MDPC Sleeving) | Case - 800D | Monitors - ASUS V238H/ X Star DP2710LED | Mouse - M90 Keyboard - CM Quickfire Rapid w/ custom key caps

If you have the Steam app for Android or iOS, you can buy games on your phone and you can download them later on your PC.

Just to making sure everyone knows :3

4 hours and 20 minutes until 10 AM PST. Live world clock at the bottom here:

http://www.bloodpact.net/home

PST is California.

And while midweek madness ends at 10 AM PST, the summer sale might not start IMMEDIATELY, I would imagine 1-2 hours for client update is plausible.

Just don't start clawing your eyeballs out in suspense is all I'm saying :P

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

This might sound crazy and kind of stupid, but didn't we get an update a few days ago? It was like 40K kilobytes, didn't know what it was for.

The sale always starts right after the midweek madness ends. It should be within 5 minutes of midweek ending, but there will be a huge amount of lag as everyone and their mothers will be checking out the Steam sale at the same time.

I've been able to gain about 26 dollars in my steam wallet from selling off trading cards. Should be able to get two or three games essentially for free.
