How loud is the Hyper 212 Evo's fan?

This is mostly a question to those who own or have owned the cooler in question. I have been considering getting the hyper 212 evo for a budget pc I am building, as it seems like a great price/performance cooler. However, I know some people have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, it is an excellent cooler, but I have also read its fan is very loud, and can even be heard through silent optimized cases like the define r5. Can anyone confirm this? Also, does the heatsink support push-pull or can you only mount a fan from one side?

The fan can be loud at max speed and is almost quiet at lower speeds.

It is loud at high RPMs, but it performs very well even at medium speeds.  If you really want silence, buy a 2nd 120mm fan, I recommend the Cooler Master Blade Master 120mm, run them both at around 1000-1400rpm, and you will get excellent performance and low noise.
