My case is an NZXT H440 and I have 3 corsair SP120 Performance Edition Fans intake and 2 SP120 Performance Edition exhaust. I also have one AF140 quiet edition exhaust in the back and one SP120 Performance Edition on my Hyper 212 Evo. My question is should I replace all of those useless and outrageous SP120 fans that make no sense in an open air environment with AF fans or even Noctua fans? Thanks

those fans are extremely loud

replace them with noctua, noiseblocker, bequiet, or fractal design fans and you will reduce your PC noise by a ton

noctua is one of the more well known and respected brands when it comes to silence, but worth the larger price.

You're welcome :)

noctua has some good quiet fans for both airflow or static pressure

their industrial black fans look good but are loud, so if you dont want crap coloured fans go with the redux version

noiseblocker makes good looking quiet static pressure fans, and bequiet makes good VERY quiet airflow fans

fractal design makes quiet airflow fans but they just refreshed their fan lineup with a variety of airflow and static pressure fans that look good too

Definitely replace them if you want a quieter PC. Some options:

"Expensive":

-Be Quiet Silent Wings 2

-NoiseBlocker eLoop

-Noctua airflow-optimized, NF-S12A

Mid-range:

-Noctua Redux

-Be Quiet Pure Wings 2

Cheap but still perform very well:

-Bitfenix Spectre (non-Pro)

-GELID Silent 12/14

"Rawr XD"

Why not the Spectre Pro? Is there something wrong with them?

What's the reason for replacing your fans? Are you not satisfied with your current cooling?

They're mediocre at best.

Online as in..? I don't suppose you can have an item shipped from any warehouse around the world.

Newegg.com for the US? If so, only Newegg and not any other stores?

Newegg isn't only limited to the US which is why that wasn't clear.

If ncix is an option, you could replace all of the fans with NF-P12's and optimally use a splitter to run them all from the cpu header. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-case-fan-nfp12pwm

I have almost the same setup and the noise doesn't bother me at all, I barely notice the difference.

My computer is right next to me on my desk and my H440 doesn't block out the sound at all. Trust me they are LOUD.

It might be that mine is under my desk.  Loud is a relative term I suppose, my previous system was loud as fuck so I'm probably used to the noise being incredibly bad.
