Posted April 5, 2015 What fan controller would be good for me? I have 4 fans for intake/outtake and I would like to have them speed up whenever the in-case temperature gets hot. All answers are appreciated.
Posted April 5, 2015 Well it depends, for example, it depends wether your computer bays are vertical or horizontal. Vertical: NZXT grid+ Horizontal: NZXT Sentry 2 CPU: Intel i7-4790K @ 4.7GHz --- RAM: Lenovo 1600MHz 16GB --- MOBO: Gigabyte Z97-G7 --- GPU: EVGA GTX 970 FTW ACX 2.0+--- PSU: Corsair CX600 --- Case: Corsair Air 540 --- Cooler: NZXT Kraken X61 --- OS: Windows 8.1 --- Monitor: 24" AOC G2460P + Dell 19" --- Mouse: Logitech MX Perfromance --- Keyboard: Corsair K70 (Cherry MX Brown) --- Audio: Sennheiser HD558 Don't buy a GTX 980, it's overpriced! Buy 2 GTX 970s or 2 R9 290s intstead (the R9 290s would even be cheaper)
Posted April 6, 2015 Well it depends, for example, it depends wether your computer bays are vertical or horizontal. Vertical: NZXT grid+ Horizontal: NZXT Sentry 2 How does that make any difference? Grid+ is internal controller. Anyway, @NoLimitCrafting, you will need controller with thermal probes to get temps to react in-case temps. Those aren't really accurate, so if you want to have fan curves, using mobo software or Grid+ is better solution. ^^^^ That's my post ^^^^ <-- This is me --- That's your scrollbar --> vvvv Who's there? vvvv
 And the Grid+ using the CAD software can have different temperature curves. Anything that is vertical or internal will work with vertical bays, basing it off of my case.
