Screen timeout keeps resetting to 15 seconds

So I just got my Galaxy note 4 a few days ago and for some reason after a 30 minutes to an hour the screen time out resets it self. No matter what I try to do it continues to do it. Some apps that I thought might be causing the issue are nova launcher, AVG cleaner, all clear, or Advanced Task Killer. Any help would be highly appreciated.

reset it to factory defaults

then install the programs 1 by 1 till you find the culprit
