3 pin fan plugs called?

i know it may sound like a dumb question, but what are the 3 pin fan plugs called?

 

im looking for the pins and plastic housing.

 

cant seem to find anything on ebay, and whatever i find is just expensive

umm... i call it a 3pin fan header. you need a 3pin fan to molex?

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

oh i finally found... after like 30 mins lol! i knew id find as soon as i posted the topic

 

its called "2.54mm Pin Header KF2510-3P"

Yup, same with me. I just call it a 3 pin fan connector.

Depends on the manufacturer i.e. from Molex it'd be the KK series with a 2.54mm (0.1") pitch, 3 pin, single row.

For Molex parts try searching;

Housing: 22-01-3037

Crimp connectors: 08-50-0114

Places like RS components, Digikey, Mouser and Element 14 might be a better place to look than eBay too.

I usually use Molex 50-29-1558 (its black instead of natural nylon) with the same contacts as Grrizz pointed out

Left one is 3pin fan female, right is 3pin fan male.

Yes you can get them on eBay for sure, but theses connectors you will need a crimper tool.
