there have been many android and ios emulators. And some of them still work. So this is nothing new.

There's a difference though between running wonky android emulators and simply running android apps in chrome. Sounds a lot more convenient.

With the newer versions of Android they no longer need to emulate the hardware (ARM) and only need to now emulate or convert the software calls (like WINE). Which means performance should be a lot better since it's closer to running on actual hardware.

Yeah it's BBC but oh well but the program can only work if you have chrome installed (which you probably do) and they're mainly meant for developers.

Nice, this will be great for if i wanna use kik while on my pc instead of grabbing my phone and replying, plus having a full size keyboard is nice to type with.
