Which graphics card is better?

 

Radeon Saphire R9 270X Toxic 

 

Or

 

EVGA GTX 960

 

Also, feel free to suggest any better ones around the same price

GTX 960 is a tiny bit better and uses less power and is generally cooler.

But, the 280 (Or even 280X) should be as much as the 960, which is better because 3GB VRAM

Well honestly that's not a very fitting comparison...270x is $50 or so cheaper, and performs as such...GTX 960 will beat that all day long. A more appropriate comparison would be 960 vs 280x...they are similarly priced and spec'd. I'd prefer a 960 for the power draw/heat....but thats just a personal opinion.

960 is more efficient and has better driver software

No... The 270X is not more powerful.. 

The GTX 960 and R9 280 (and even R9 285) are about even and the 270X is below that.
