Is this possible? (Android on a desktop)

Jack.EXE

Would it be possible to throw android x86 on a desktop with say, an AMD sempron 3850, an R7-240, 4 GB of ram, and a 64 gig SSD?

It would make an epic android gaming box, as it would be as powerful, if not more powerful, than 99% of the android tablets out there once you add a controller.

Plus, it would be pretty cheap, at about $200 to make.

Please tell me this is possible.

I do know you can emulate on windows but you can try this:

also you can go 1 step cooler (in my opinion.) From what I read you can create an android bootable USB drive. So essentially you could turn any computer into an Android gaming computer without actually changing the device.

PRO TIP: Do not fully submerge your PC in molasses.

If you really want android in a desktop machine, then use Bluestacks or Andy. If you really want native android on desktop you can use "Console OS"... but I believe you need specific hardware to run that...

| EVGA GeForce GTX 970 FTW+ ACX 2.0 SLI | Noctua NH-L9i | Corsair RM650X | HyperX Fury 240 GB | Seagate Barracuda 2 TB |
