Posted March 26, 2015 The item I'm reviewing right now can be found here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DKXXAAQ/ This item also comes in blue and I believe green. Total rating: 2 out of 5 stars Summary: It works. Sort of. Please don't buy it. Pros: Sort of has the feel of a mechanical keyboard. Not too much though. DPI button on the mouse. The keyboard works for the most part. MB4 and MB5 on the mouse (located on the left side) for navigating the internet - you can also make these do things like hold them down to chat on teamspeak Cons: The mouse scrollwheel is very glitchy, it scrolls in the opposite direction. This renders the mousewheel unusable for me. Sometimes when you scroll it makes a squeaking noise. Backlit (This can be a pro or a con) Loud (Again, can be a pro or a con) In conclusion, it works but the mouse is unusable. Also it makes you look like you're trying to be a gamer but you're really not.

Posted March 26, 2015 Your scroll button scrolls backwards? That's not common. I have one and it scrolls just right! Although after a few weeks the scroll does squeak when scrolling forward. Apparently some keyboards didn't have grease/whatever you call it actually put onto it. Easily fixable but taking apart the kb will revoke the 2year warranty on them. As for LEDs, maybe it is just the red that irritates/cons you? The blue looks great, not a con at all, and the green looks even better. The keys are definitely a bit loud, but this is a membrane and cheap option so you can't expect gold. This is a great combo for 20-30$. Posted March 26, 2015 I've seen a lot of reviews on Amazon a while back where people had the exact same problem. I haven't seen a review like that yet, mostly just the squeaking for the mouse. And most reviews on the product are very positive (with LEDs being the largest complaint). It really is a good keyboard and mouse. I would advise you return yours and get a new one, probably in another color because the red looks terrible in most images I have seen. | The United Empire of Earth Wants You | The Stormborn (ongoing build; 90% done) | Skyrim Mods Recommendations | LTT Blue Forum Theme! | Learning Russian! Posted March 30, 2015 I am using this Keyboard and Mouse Combo, The mouse scroll squeaking and moving the opposite direction is a sign that dust has breached in between the scroll and the sensor. I usually clean and lube mine once a week. This is due to the design, dust can easily penetrate from the opening of the sides of the scroll. That being said I like the mouse design it fits comfortably in my hand. And also remember if you open it it voids the warranty.
 Posted March 30, 2015 That's strange. I wonder how many others experience this. My thermaltake mouse does this If I click it once the power is off. It just turns it self on and stay that way. Thought it was quite common for mice. I have all of those settings off, so that's why my LED mouse goes off when the PC does. | The United Empire of Earth Wants You | The Stormborn (ongoing build; 90% done) | Skyrim Mods Recommendations | LTT Blue Forum Theme! | Learning Russian! Posted March 30, 2015 i bought that combo out of curiosity a while back. mouse wheel was wonky as hell after a couple days use, but the keyboard was alright (aside from cheap cable sleeving that broke away from the back of the keyboard after a week, exposing the wires). I even took apart the mouse to see if there was a hardware issue with the scrolling, but the scrolling problem is either driver related or a circuitry problem in the mouse. In my opinion no one should by this combo for any reason. there are better illuminated keyboards for similar pricing, and better durability.
